1. Return Eligibility
We accept returns under the following conditions:
Eligible for Return:
- Defective/Damaged Products: If you receive a damaged or defective item
- Wrong Product: If you receive an item different from what you ordered
- Quality Issues: If the product quality does not match the description
- Size Issues: If the jewellery size doesn't fit (for rings, bangles, etc.)
Not Eligible for Return:
- Custom-made jewellery: Pieces made to your specific design
- Personalized items: Engraved or customized pieces
- Sale items: Products purchased during clearance sales
- Worn or altered items: Products that show signs of wear or have been resized
- Items without original packaging and tags
- Orders beyond 7 days of delivery
2. Return Timeline
- Within 24 hours: Report any visible damage or wrong product immediately
- Within 3 days: Report sizing issues or quality concerns
- Within 7 days: Return request must be initiated for any eligible reason
- After 7 days: No returns accepted, but we offer repair services at nominal cost
⚠️ Important: Return requests must be initiated within 7 days of delivery. No exceptions will be made for requests after this period.
3. Return Process
- Contact Us: Call or WhatsApp us at +91 98100 12345 within 7 days of delivery
- Provide Details: Share your order number, photos/videos of the issue
- Get Approval: Our team will verify and provide a Return Authorization Number
- Pack the Item: Securely pack the item in original packaging with all tags
- Ship Back: Courier pickup will be arranged or you can ship to our address
- Quality Check: Item undergoes inspection at our facility (2-3 days)
- Refund/Replacement: Processed within 5-7 business days after approval

5. Refund Methods
- Original Payment Method: Refund to the same card/UPI/account used for purchase (5-7 business days)
- Store Credit: Instant credit valid for 1 year (available on request)
- Bank Transfer: For orders paid by cash on delivery (3-5 business days)
- Exchange: Replacement with new item of same or higher value (difference to be paid)
6. Cancellation Policy
Order Cancellation by Customer:
- Within 2 hours of order: Full refund, no questions asked
- After 2 hours but before dispatch: 90% refund (10% cancellation fee)
- After dispatch: Cannot be cancelled, must follow return process
- Custom orders: Cannot be cancelled once production starts
Cancellation by RUKMINIHALL JEWELLERS:
- Out of stock: Full refund if we cannot fulfill the order
- Payment issues: Order cancelled if payment fails/not received
- Suspicious orders: We reserve the right to cancel any order for security reasons
7. Exchange Policy
- Size Exchange: Free size exchange within 7 days (shipping charges may apply)
- Design Exchange: Can exchange for another design of equal or higher value
- Price Difference: If new item is costlier, difference to be paid; if cheaper, store credit issued
- Exchange Limit: Only one exchange per order

9. Shipping Costs for Returns
- Defective/Wrong item: We bear all shipping costs
- Size exchange: Customer pays return shipping; we pay forward shipping
- Change of mind: Not applicable (returns not accepted)
- International returns: Customer bears both ways shipping + customs
10. Product Condition for Return
Returned items must be:
- In original condition (unworn, unaltered)
- With all original packaging, boxes, and certificates
- With all tags attached
- Free from scratches, damage, or wear
- Not resized or altered in any way
⚠️ Items that don't meet these conditions will be rejected and shipped back at customer's expense.
11. Special Cases
Bridal/Jewellery Sets:
- Must be returned as complete set (partial returns not accepted)
- Special inspection required (may take longer)
High-Value Items (above ₹1,00,000):
- Video verification of packing required
- Insurance verification may be needed
- Extended inspection period (5-7 days)
Sale/Discounted Items:
- Final sale - no returns or exchanges
- Only eligible if defective

13. Customer Rights
- You have the right to a refund if the product is defective or not as described
- You have the right to cancel within 2 hours of order
- You have the right to a replacement for damaged goods
- You have the right to be informed about the status of your return
14. Dispute Resolution
In case of any disputes regarding returns or refunds:
- First, contact our customer service for resolution
- If unresolved, escalation to Store Manager within 48 hours
- Final escalation to Management (response within 7 days)
